[+] Zoom In

Description

This week our guest is Victoria Wilson Roberts.

Broadcast live at 8 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011

Victoria Wilson Roberts grew up in Pasadena with the famous Wilson clan. She did ink & paint in her father's animation studio in the late 60's and early 70's, and attended art college in London. It was there she witnessed the opening of The Rainbow Theater where she met (and started dating) Richard "Barney" Barnes, best friend of Pete Townsend. Naturally, that gave her a pass to see The Who and The Faces lads whenever she wanted. When Vickie returned to the States she got a job running rock icon Stephen Still's household near Boulder Colorado. Back in L.A., Vickie worked as an artist creating ceramic and wood sculpture with her second husband, David Zweifel, exhibiting in galleries nationwide. More recently, she has been in the art and antique trade both as a dealer and managing art shows in the Western U.S.. Vickie also occupies a studio where she creates original works of assemblage art and has been exhibited in numerous shows in California and New Mexico.
